Aurora is a limited release to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Distillery De Molenberg.
The early bird catches the worm, as the producers of Sauternes wines also know. By harvesting their grapes in the autumn, the morning dew ensures extra sweet grapes.
This whisky first matured in Bourbon and Anchor casks, followed by an 18-month finish in Sauternes casks. These release full-bodied notes of honey and apple during maturation. Aurora, our birthday edition with a full, dry finish, pairs perfectly with a sweet dessert.
