Gouden Carolus Single Malt (46% vol.) is a refined Belgian whisky distilled from the mash of the Gouden Carolus beer. A first for Belgium are the hand-hammered, copper stills, known as pot stills, in which the pure grain mash is distilled.
The successive maturation in First Fill Bourbon casks followed by further maturation in 'Anker' casks results in a refined whisky with a full and balanced flavor. The subtly present fruit aromas are beautifully complemented by notes of wood and vanilla.
