Hopsinjoor” is a reference to the figure “Opsinjoor” that is intertwined with the Mechelen history and on the other hand the 5 used hop varieties.
The hops are added at different times during the boiling process to retain maximum aroma. It is a predominantly soft beer with a bitter aftertaste. The beer is bottled unfiltered in order to retain as much hop bitterness as possible.
