Gouden Carolus Single Malt (46% vol.) is a refined Belgian whisky distilled from the mash of the beer Gouden Carolus. A first for Belgium are the hand-hammered, copper stills, known as pot stills, in which the pure grain mash is distilled. The consecutive aging in First Fill Bourbon barrels followed by further aging in 'Anker' barrels results in a refined whisky with a full and balanced flavor. The subtly present fruit aromas are beautifully complemented by notes of wood and vanilla.
