Serve this vintage sake neat or on the rocks.
Foodpairing: hints of sherry and ripe fruit. This is an excellent sake for the end of a meal. Pairs wonderfully well with dried fruit, dates, chocolate, gingerbread and mature or blue cheeses.
Konishi is one of the oldest sake breweries in Japan, with a family history dating back to 1550. The brewery is currently run by the 15th generation. The own label sake, Shirayuki (‘white snow’), is based on this family tradition and age-old brewing techniques. Konishi also markets a range of innovative, premium sake under its own name. More info
